Title: History Repeats Itself

Summmary: How I like to think Harry finds out about Remus and Sirius.
He saw his father, sitting polishing a broom, raking a hand through familiarly messy black hair, pushing glasses up his nose in a very familiar gesture. Off to the side, Sirius laughed and joked, while Remus sat in an overstuffed chair by the fireplace, reading a heavy volume propped in his lap, a slight smile the only sign that he wasn't pointedly ignoring the antics of his friends.
Harry squinted more closely, and then laughed out loud when he saw what Remus was reading. He would have to show Hermione, who would be immensely gratified.
Really, the whole photo was eerily familiar. He'd acted out this exact scene in the Gryffindor common room so many times before. It wasn't just that he looked so much like his own father, but Ron had always been the jesting best friend who didn't take anything too seriously, and Remus had clearly been the Hermione of the group - the balancing component that kept the other two grounded in reality.
Apropos nothing, Sirius grabbed Hogwarts: A History and chucked it across the room before plunking down on the newly-vacant lap. Remus found himself being thoroughly snogged before he had a chance to protest the loss of his book.
'Oh,' thought Harry. 'Well, just like Ron and Hermione, then.'
Author's notes: Peter isn't written out of the scene: he took the photo. I've never written a drabble before, so concrit is particularly welcome.
